We have two different types of over seeders.  One being a 10' Tye slice seeder, and the other being a 6' Land Pride primary stand seeder.  The knives on the seeder create a slit in which the seed is precisely placed in the slit, and the roller incorporates seed to soil contact for better seed germination.
